We are looking for a Supplier Engineering Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Director of Supplier Engineering and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for an Supplier Engineering Intern to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supplier Sourcing – this (can help) or look through the internet at least
- Commercial contact with Vendors
- Supply Chain, Logistical Process Improvement
- Contracting Services
- Selling, Repurposing Equipment
- Keeping up with spreadsheets, scheduling meetings – this (can help) or look through the internet at least
- Data base with pricing – this is important
- Forecasting prices, creating / managing current pricing / estimating tool
- Supplier Capacity Analysis
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong oral and written communication skillsÂ
- Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
- Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA, preferably 3.0 or higher.
- This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024.

Salary Ranges:
