Job Requirements

1. Experience:10+ years of Java development experience, including 3+ years in team and project management.
   
2. Technical Expertise:Proficient in Java with deep knowledge of JVM, memory management, multi-threading, and concurrency programming. Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and MyBatis. Expertise in microservices architecture and related technologies (e.g., Spring Cloud, Nacos, GRPC).
   
3. Database Management:Skilled in designing, optimizing, and managing databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. Proficient in SQL performance tuning and database query optimization.
   
4. Middleware Proficiency:Hands-on experience with middleware technologies like Redis and Kafka. Deep understanding of caching mechanisms and message queue applications.
   
5. Coding and Documentation:Strong coding habits with the ability to write and review technical documentation. Capable of conducting multi-faceted technical evaluations.
   
6. Problem-Solving and Innovation:Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues. Ability to drive business innovation through effective technical solutions.

As a Product Manager with the Global Ads Product Strategy Department, you will be responsible for guiding the development and execution of Ad Tech product development by identifying customer needs and market trends, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful product performance.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the profit and loss of the product.
• Facilitate product improvement by working together with our engineering team in Singapore and business team in Japan to design roadmaps and release plans to improve its performance.
• Be a key decision-maker in the ad product requirement.
• Be a key point of contact with salespersons, agencies, and vendors.
• Manage contract and daily operation flow with agencies and vendors.
• Lead improvement activities in team operations.
• Conduct data analysis to clarify issues and identify improvement points.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Must have at least 3 years of project or product management experience.
• Must have language requirements: Bilingual in both Japanese (Business level) and English (Business level) as you will be required to communicate frequently with our Japanese external and internal key stakeholders, and also to communicate with stakeholders across APAC region.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills required to deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of multi-tasking projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and conflict management skills.
• Capable of performing detailed work precisely like report creation and data analysis.
• Good understanding of the internet advertising industry and internet technology.

• At least 3-5 years of working experience in Product Management within a Telco/IT environment (those with more than 5 years of experience will be considered for Senior Product Manager position).
• Proven experience in financial and business case modelling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for influencing and driving change.
