Quality Inspector, Larkhall, £12.25 per hour

We are recruiting a number of Quality Inspectors for our well known client in Larkhall. If you want to work for a market leading business within the automotive industry, then you have all of this to look forward to:

• Overseeing the inspection of products or services to make sure the products meet all requirements and standards
• Carrying out quality control checks on finished goods prior to shipping
• Inspecting parts against master part to ensure quality standards achieved
• Identifying any product defects / faults
• Developing and implementing quality control audit plans
• Ensuring right quantity of packaging / ensuring correct packaging of parts
• Signing off final product / back up final recordings
• Ensuring that products comply with company standards
• Use of numeracy skills to confirm data / product number accuracy
• Accurately recording data and inputting into computerised system
• Regular overtime paid at great rates

Support emergency procedures and the Senior Controller during major incidents.

We are looking for someone who

Is a SIA CCTV Operator with relevant Control Room Experience
Has experience of working in a customer service environment and is committed to working to high standards and providing the highest level of visitor care
Thrives in a very busy environment and maintains patience and empathy even when working under pressure
Has good computer literacy, including all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to grasp new systems quickly
Is experienced in handling radio and telephone communications
A real team player, you will collaborate with teams across The O2 to achieve our goals of keeping everyone safe.

• Confined spaces
• Confined Space High Risk (Desirable)
• HGV Class 2 (Desirable)

Job Purpose

• Cover client expectations within priority time frames
• Day to day and OOH duties met and covered for all workload eventualities

Role Summary

• Working alone safely and responsibly, responding to blockages and carrying out maintenance tasks with a high-pressure Van Pack vehicle.
• Customer and client liaison and able to build a good rapport.
• Be able to work collectively as a team.
• Incident reporting and escalation with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Look See Push rod CCTV surveys and reporting.
• Confined Space entry and safe working practices.
• Responsible for a proactive approach to SHEQ/H&S/POWRA Risk assessments and carrying out works in a safe and productive manner.
• Driving of company vehicles/ valid driving license for role applied for.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post
