Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Full-time Business Traineeship Opportunity Do you have a passion for customer service and wanting to kick start your career as a banking customer advisor? This is your chance! Gain invaluable hands-on experience whilst completing a 12 Month Traineeship and Certificate III in Business. Working within a local banking branch in Mount Isa, this is a real career start within a supportive environment. The successful trainee will have the opportunity to learn all about customer service within the banking sector whilst developing their customer service skills on the job. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in commencing a career within financial services sector. What will you be doing? Working full time as a Business Trainee, you will learn and develop the skills to become a successful customer advisor. You will become the first point of contact for customers when they visit the retail branch. Your duties may include but are not limited to:

Assisting customers with their enquires whilst providing a positive branch experience.
Engage in needs-based conversations with customers.
General banking and telling duties: money handling, facilitating transactions and ATM Maintenance.
Coaching customers on self-service and digital banking.
Assisting customers with opening and closing accounts, fraud and banking transactions.

What are we looking for?

A well-presented team-player with excellent work ethic
Excellent communication skills and sound computer knowledge
A reliable and punctual individual who demonstrates initiative
Demonstrated ability in cash handling and/or customer service
Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check

We are seeking a trainee that has desire to learn and who is eager to start their adminsitration career within the Health Sector. What will you be doing? Supporting the Drug and Alcohol support services team, your duties may include but are not limited to:

Receptionist duties, greeting and welcoming visitors.
Monitoring and responding to inquiries via phone and email.
Maintaining records according to departmental guidelines.
Scheduling appointments for patients.
Any additional administrative duties requested.

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
High level organisational skills, professional phone manner and strong attention to detail
A reliable and punctual individual who demonstrates initiative.
Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check
Eligibility criteria applies for this program in relation to work rights, prior qualifications and successfully completing the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against specified Infections Disease Policy directive.
