Job Description

• Provide support to HR team in the day-to-day operations. (Full spectrum of HR)
• Assist and coordinate interviews arrangement/documents retrieval.
• Work Passes application, renewal & related matters.
• Keep track of hygiene certification/airport pass renewals & staff confirmation
• On-boarding & Off-boarding administrative support
• Update and maintain employees' record in HRIS (personnel updates, leave records etc)
• Administer required security accesses in accordance to CAG requirements
• Manage training updates and arrange training for staff and administer internships from school & Corporate training initiatives. (WSG courses)
• Actively recruiting all types of position for F&B roles
• Responsible to safe keep and provide proper filing of all HR documents confidentially. (hardcopy & softcopy)
• Assist Senior in processing Payroll min 50 headcounts (FT & PT)
• Office administration (ordering name cards, stationery etc)
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned and HR project works

Requirements:-

• Minimum ITE/Diploma Holder/Degree in Human Resource Management
• Independent and confident to carry out assignment in an efficient and effective manner
• Meticulous, organized, pro-active and able to work under pressure
• Task oriented work ethics, Good team player
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• experienced in Timesoft & Successfactor are advantage.
• IT savvy and Proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word
• Experience in the Food industries will be preferred
• Able to start work IMMEDIATELY

Jones the Grocer is coming back to Singapore – at Changi Airport (managed by SSP Singapore)! Originally started in 1996 in Australia, Jones the Grocer was a passionate project derived from a desire to run an unconventional grocery store, café and cheese room.

SSP is an award-winning global food and beverage provider in travel locations worldwide. Established in 1996, SSP Singapore manages franchise and company-owned brands such as NamNam, Old Town White Coffee, Jamie’s Deli, O’Learys, etc at Singapore’s only airport- Changi.

Simply put - we make journeys taste better for passengers around the world.

In collaboration, SSP is bringing Jones the Grocer back to Singapore and we’re looking to hire F&B enthusiasts to work at the 2-floor outlet which consists of a dining area, kiosk, merchandise section and bar.

The Role

• Support Head Chef to ensure BOH is run to the specified service leave and KPIs through regular monitoring of operational performance.
• develop, mentor and manage the CDP and the BOH team.
• Assist in the implementation of specials and menu changes according to agreed recipes and standards.
• encouraged to be part of the menu and special recipe development/testing in both practical and creative aspects.
• Understand and assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day operational cost management of the BOH, working towards company targets for the stores.
• Ensure all reports are sent and completed on time to management and reviewed with the Head Chef and their particular team.
• Regular inspection of outlet and relevant equipment to ensure adherence to all government and regulatory requirements in food safety.
• Resourcing and carrying out trials and interviews for potential candidates.
• Work closely with other departments to promote good teamwork and efficient operations.

Profile required

• At least 1-3 years’ solid experience in Restaurants as a CDP or Sous Chef.
• Hospitality or restaurant management qualification preferred
• Strong business acumen, team management and communication skills
• Self-motivated, team player and enjoy working in fast-paced environment
• Problem solver and Customer oriented with a passion for food
• Flexible to working shifts to manage a 24 hour running business
• Essential Knowledge of MS Office and experience with in-house technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle month-end closing in co-ordination with outsourced Shared Service Centre
• Perform daily accounting duties for both Account Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Handle inter-company transactions and accounts reconciliation
• Prepare monthly financial schedule and reporting
• Prepare weekly / monthly cash flow forecast
• Handle inventory control and management
• Assist in periodic stock take and maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Assist in year-end audit and tax computation
• Support ad-hoc projects / tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or above in accountancy with LCCI or related accounting knowledge
• A minimum of 1 / 2 years of relevant working experience in commercial sectors, experience gained in MNC or food & beverages industry is preferable
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Ability to work independently and positive working attitude;
• Able to meet reporting deadlines and work under pressure;
• Proficient in MS Office applications with excellent skill using Excel
• Good knowledge in Dynamics NAV would be advantageous.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
• Candidate with more experience and qualifications will be considered as Senior Accounts Executive
