The salary for this permanent Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £35,392 - £42,618 per annum.
Duties:
• Work as part of Mental Health Services frontline response to people referred for support and treatment
• Assess and support people presenting to services in a state of acute crisis
• Ensure and take responsibility for the provision of comprehensive assessments of needs and risks of people referred to the service
• Take responsibility for planning and the delivery of care to people requiring an acute and intensive response from this service
• Plan and take responsibility in collaborating with service users and other services/agencies on how their needs will be met on exit from this service
• Be active in the development of the service and development of professional practice and role
• Ensure that relationships and own behaviour are managed in line with the Equalities Framework competencies
• Ensure all communications are undertaken in a sensitive, confidential and professional manner
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
Demonstrate an innovative practice and seek to develop knowledge and awareness at all times
Have an understanding of budget management and use of resources and take responsibility as part of the senior team for managing these
Seek to share knowledge and skills with colleagues
Be sufficiently computer literate to effectively use all electronic patient records and databases across your department’s area
Be aware of and committed to the practice of equal opportunities in respect of employment and service provision
Understand duty to adhere to policies and protocols applicable to infection prevention and control
Be aware of the Infection Control policies and other key clinical policies relevant to their work and how to access them
RN or Allied health professional (Mental Health)
Evidence based and experience of reflective practice
Experience in therapeutic engagement to patients in groups
Mentorship /supervision qualifications/training
Car driver
Clean driving licence
