Job Summary: The Design Assistant will work closely with the design team to support various design projects. This role involves assisting with the development of design concepts, creating visual content, managing project files, and ensuring that design work aligns with the company's standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Support
• Assist in creating design visual materials using design software.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for design projects.
• Help prepare presentations for meetings with clients.
• Maintain and organize project files and documentation.

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule and manage meetings, design reviews, and other team activities

Research and Development:

• Conduct research on design-related topics, competitors, and market trends as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: GCE N Level and above.

Nationality:

• Singaporean, Malaysian welcome
• Proficiency to communicate, read and write (English and Mandarin)

Experience:

• Previous experience as a design intern or assistant is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Sketchup, Enscape, Autocad, Microsoft Office), attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space

• Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors

• Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability

• Getting approval from the client before creating CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors

• Choosing contractors and vendors to implement design ideas, such as Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians and etc

• Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress

• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
