This is a 2-year contract position as a Lead Executive in the Finance Office.
[What you will be working on]
You will be part of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Finance team to drive and lead automation and process improvement projects and revamp the Finance intranet.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Understand and identify opportunities to leverage on analytics and technology to automate/streamline processes.
Plan, design, and develop automated processes using tools such as VBA, Python, UiPath and Power Automate.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during the planning, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems.
Plan, design and revamp the Finance intranet.
Deliver training and assistance to teams for the adoption of new automated processes and systems.
Assist in other ad hoc projects and finance duties as assigned.
You may be rotated to other sections in the Finance Office.
[What we are looking for]
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in in Automation, AI, Engineering, or Data-related roles.
Proficient in Excel, VBA, Outlook Macro, Python/R Studio, UiPath Studio, Power BI.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, continuous learner, self-motivated and meticulous.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
A team player who is able work independently.
Knowledge of best practices and techniques for implementing automation to streamline finance and administrative processes is an added advantage.
