The Employee will conduct an initial survey and inspection of the job scope once activated for an enquiry. Alternatively, the employee shall evaluate the job scope through the drawing and information provided by the ship staff.
Employee shall take the necessary measurements and readings to provide a repair plan, estimated repair time, consumables, and raw materials required for the job.
The employee will be carrying out maintenance, service, and repair of all mechanical equipment (diesel engines, pumps, gearboxes, couplings, alternators, turbochargers, etc) onboard all vessels as assigned by the Project Manager.
The Employee will submit a manpower (support workers and technicians) plan after the survey/inspection.
The Employee will delegate the job to the relevant team members and adhere closely to the projected repair and manpower plan.
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of major brand marine diesel engine systems, pumps.
Diagnose and recommend solutions to engine installation, repair, and replacement.
Order engine parts and related requirements.
Perform routine and annual engine maintenance.
Any other ad-hoc assignments.
Troubleshooting all the engine and mechanical equipment onboard vessels.
Planning and executing the repair job is the most cost-effective method.
Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment, and cleanliness in the workshop.
Attending to vessels dry-dock as assigned by Project Manager.
