Responsibilities:

• E2E Systems architecture scoping and alignment with BU and Enterprise Architects for Consumer Services & Solutions including Print as a Service, Instant Ink, Instant Paper, PC as a Service etc.
• Architect custom solutions of program and enterprise or operational scope.
• Architect reusable solutions of program and enterprise or operational scope.
• Customize reusable solutions of program and enterprise or operational scope including Lease accounting capabilities.
• Capture and share architectural IP at the solution level.
• Define and implement architectural governance at the program and enterprise or operational scope.
• Contribute to the Architect profession both internally and externally.
• Lead architecture team in architecture activities for complex, medium to large opportunity.
• Develop for client technically or operationally feasible long-term IT strategies and plans .
• Assess business impact of multiple technologies/strategies .
• Identify and address technical or operational risks .
• Provide review/input on project activities for large enterprise or global level projects .
• Collaborates with the project manager to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for large enterprise or global level projects.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations at CEO/COO/CIO levels for large, complex opportunities .

Education and Experience Required:
Industry experience - minimum 10 to 15 years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
Architecting:

• Provide direction to Engineering teams, with focus on speedy and efficient delivery
• Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design an IS solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity without unnecessary enhancements.
• Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise or global solutions that span multiple technologies and disciplines.
• Be able to provide architectural direction for multiple medium to large sized complex projects concurrently in various stages of their lifecycle or a large project full time.

As the HR Technology Solutions Architect, you will provide technical leadership in driving the HR systems ecosystem / architecture strategy and roadmap for global HR solutions. You will partner with HR systems teams, HR Centers of Excellence, HRIT, Infrastructure and Cyber Security to ensure the end state solutions meet the standards, design and implementation approaches for business, HR and our workforce. 

The Architect will review the business context for solutions to HR challenges and define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development). You will partner with the HR CoEs and HR Systems on maximizing our investments, selection of new products, and integration of our ecosystem. You will be a leader in understanding HR technology trends to identify new capabilities, make recommendations, conduct proof of concepts, evolve our standards, and make recommendations to our broader HR technology teams.    

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand HR needs and design solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform the continuous evolution of the HR technology strategy.

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the HR function through the thought leadership and implementation of a scalable HR technology ecosystem.

• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, ensuring the integration of innovative solutions into HR processes.

• Partner across HR and the enterprise to connect the dots and maximize our investments in HR technology.

• Design solutions that are extensible, reusable, secure, reliable, cost optimized, operationally excellent, and performant.

• Develop and maintain the multi-year HR technology roadmap and strategy in collaboration with HR business stakeholders.

• Develop solution options, recommendations, designs based on domain roadmaps/requirements, enterprise security standards and reference architectures.

• Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value.

• Lead and coordinate technical reviews (architectural, security, compliance, etc.)

• Leverage recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision- making across HR.

• Provide expert technical advice to domain delivery team and monitor solution compliance with HP's architecture principles.

• Provide consultation, design input, and feedback for application development and design reviews for HR system implementations.

• Effectively collaborate globally to deliver solutions.

• Advocate and drive adoption of "standard methodologies" to ensure standardization of solution designs across the enterprise.

• Has in-depth understanding of the product and services portfolio roadmaps of multiple HR CoEs

Education and Experience Required:

• 8+ years of experience in HR technology, including deploying large-scale global HR technology projects.

• 5+years of combined experience as an Enterprise Architect, Engineer, Solution Architect, Technical Consultant in an environment with a combination of SaaS and custom developed systems

• Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on insights.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of HRIS systems, best in class HR technology platforms, automation tools, and enterprise architecture (Workday, Saba, Eightfold, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and systems including talent acquisition, core HCM, performance management, compensation, and benefits and ability to define dependencies and connect the dots across the technology landscape.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Outstanding analytical, problem solving and fact-finding skills.

• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture

• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels.

• Ability to understand the customer’s business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a solution that completely and correctly addresses the need.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

• Ability to identify, clarify and resolve project issues and risks as needed.
