Your new role
This is a great opportunity to join a streamlined team as Import (Logistics) Administrator. You will be working as part of an experienced team and your duties will be varied, including:
- Liaising with shipping, carriers and agents
- Arranging import deliveries into the country
- Arranging delivery of containers
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Administration and data processing
- Arranging transportation for customers
- Maintaining in-house systems
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job will require previous technical or logistics administration skills as well as:
* A good telephone manner.
* Competent IT skills, particularly MS Office.
* Confident communicator at all levels.
* Ability to work well under pressure and show initiative.
* Previous administrative experience.
* Must be proactive and highly organised.
