Our Enterprise Partner Success Team focuses on building relationships with existing Groupon merchants in North America. We spend our day understanding the corporate/business growth goals of our partners and then ensuring that their offerings on Groupon’s marketplace are optimized to maximize the growth of these accounts. We have a sophisticated engine that drives our marketplace as well as many ways to promote Enterprise level businesses and it takes a sophisticated approach to meet the challenges of continuous growth.
You'll focus on full cycle management of Partner accounts. Whether you're optimizing a live deal for a business that we've worked with for years, or negotiating to bring a Partner back on our platform, you'll be the point of contact for a specific group of our existing Enterprise partners at Groupon.
As an Enterprise Account Director you will take part in driving the future vision, go to market strategy, and product suite we sell. This team will have a high level of visibility to improve our sales processes, tools and product discovery roadmap.

You’ll spend time on the following:
You will be expected to consistently achieve and/or exceed your sales targets and merchant satisfaction expectations
You will be empowered to nurture and grow our existing merchant relationships with our top tier merchants. This includes re-engaging former merchants through cold calling to retain, consult, and close local deals
You will facilitate revenue growth by improving and optimizing deals
You will utilize knowledge of deal structure and strategy to reach Groupon’s and merchants’ desired outcomes and maximize satisfaction, engagement, retention, and profit
You will develop familiarity with each merchant’s business, including but not limited to: products and/or services, consumer demographics, consumer ratings, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic model, and revenue/profit drivers
Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently with shifting priorities
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally with multiple groups to obtain consensus
Strong business and financial acumen with experience building strategies and business cases
Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize many moving targets
Detailed and thorough with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines with strong initiative and proactive mindset
Focus on annual revenue growth via account planning, adding inventory, deal optimizations, and problem solving while partnering with your MSD counterpart.
Additional key responsibilities are as follows supporting supply Density, identifying most impactful growth opportunities, reviewing data insights, account Reviews / QBRs, customized strategies
We’re excited about you if you have:
5+plus years experience in Sales, Enterprise Sales, Account Management
BS/BA degree in sales/business or other related field
A proven track record of success in a Customer Success role with Enterprise level businesses
Experience upselling and reselling over the phone as well as video tools (e.g., Google Meet)
Customer service, analytical, and problem solving skills
You have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a high degree of integrity and patience
You have the right balance of coach-ability and confidence, and are excited about the opportunity to further develop consultative sales skills
Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition to improve
You're adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges or tough conversations, you face them head-on
You hold yourself accountable and balance multiple priorities with precision
You are committed to a high standard of integrity and work ethic
You are curious about people, local businesses, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others
You have excellent written and oral communication skills
Salesforce or other CRM experience a plus
