Sr Analyst, Operational Analytics

Your role works closely with clinical operations stakeholders to understand their operational challenges and to build analytics solutions to help them make informed, data driven decisions. These stakeholders include clinicians, operational leadership, and frontline staff. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Working on an operational analytics team supporting Evolent’s clinical services (i.e., specialty care, utilization management, care management, appeals & grievances)

• Using analytical tools to integrate various data sources to solve challenging analytical problems that align with key strategic objectives. 

• Developing reports that assess the value of our clinical programs or create monitoring tools to identify members with complex health needs.

• Partnering with internal stakeholders to determine how to measure and report on key performance metrics for clinical services. This includes serving as a strategic partner who has a voice in determining the best path forward when faced with challenges or tradeoffs.

• Building and managing performance metrics and standard report production.

• Identifying data and reporting gaps and working with the appropriate teams to get those gaps addressed upstream.

Qualifications - Required and Preferred:

• BS or BA in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent years of experience with a quantitative emphasis-Required.

• 2-5 years of experience in an analytics role at a health plan, consulting firm, hospital system or other healthcare-related experience-Required.

• 2-5 years of experience using SQL or SAS (SQL preferred), and Excel-Required.

• Independent thinker with the ability to multitask and manage multiple long-term projects with varying timelines-Required.

• Willingness to develop and explore innovative approaches, adapt, execute quickly, and be comfortable with ambiguous project outlines-Required.

• Experience using a variety of data visualizations to deliver business insights clearly and succinctly- Required.

• Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and personalities-Required.

• Strong analytical abilities, with track record of identifying insights from quantitative and qualitative data-Required.

Senior Software Engineer, Data Integration Engineering (Arlington, VA) – Telecommuting Permissible.  Develop high-performing, stable data applications. Maintain and support data applications for database development and version control. What You'll Be Doing:

The Community Health Worker will work as an extension of the clinical care team. The person taking this role will be assigned patients and will manage their caseload through in-person, telephonic, and electronic communications, and coordination. The Community Health Worker must reside or live within 50 miles of Prince George County, Charles County, Saint Mary’s County.

• Conduct home visits with patients to assist with SDoH barriers or other needs identified by the CM team.
• Engage with patients in person who need assistance with self-care needs beyond what a nurse care advisor can provide via phone.
• Accompany patients to their visits.
• Document activities in the Identifi system, including care plan activities conducted.
• Conduct initial outreach calls to encourage patients and care givers to participate in care management programs.
• Help patient access community and governmental based service agencies including possibly filling out paperwork with/for the patient.
• Arrange transportation.
• Coach and guide the patient to meet both personal and clinical goals.
• Schedule provider visits on behalf of their patients.
• Remind patients of their upcoming visits.
• Address language and cultural barriers to care and self-care.
• Facilitate closing gaps in care by educating patients about preventive monitoring and working with physician practices to schedule diagnostic testing.
• Participate in the integrated care team meetings.
• Participate in community health fairs and events.

This individual will apply their knowledge of healthcare and data analysis to Evolent products, platforms, data sources, and applications to provide recommendations and support our business. • Rapidly prototype ideas, approaches, and methods

Qualifications - Required and Preferred:

• 4+ years of healthcare industry experience or related fields- Required.

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics/Biostatistics, Software Engineering, Physics, Informatics, or Public Health from a strong academic program - Required.

As a Senior Adaptive Analyst, Financial Information Systems at Evolent, you will be the main technical specialist for Business Operations Finance and accounting teams.
