Job Description:

• lead the tendering process
• prepare tender documentation
• submit quotation or tender document
• estimate construction cost in competitive manner
• monitor monthly progress
• process claims and contractual payment
• negotiate and award sub-contractors
• attend site meeting and assist supervisors in letter/report writing and corresponding contract issues
• responsible in preparing documentation including daily report, monthly progress report, method of statement and work procedure to project manager.
• order paint materials correctly and follow up with the delivery status

Requirements:

• degree in quantity surveyor or equivalent
• at least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry
• good in English communication (very important!) Must be confident on talking to clients and suppliers!
• good in attitude and must be willing to learn.
• Prefer someone who has at least 1 years' working experience in SG as a QS!!!

We are hiring a lorry driver under construction sector who is able to communicate, read and write in Chinese and English; able to coordinate deliveries with vendors for materials supply; able to physical work and supervise other workers in construction site; able to work under sun and liase with maincon person in charge; able to handle job site accident investigation (if any); at least 2 year(s) working experience as construction driver.

Class 3 driving liscence can be accepted.
