Marketing Manager

This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the launch and execution of a new lifestyle brand, delivering ‘brilliantly considered stays’ in London.

Under the supervision of the global marketing team and working with the hotel GM, you will be the main marketing representative on the ground for London and will play a crucial role in the opening of a brand-new hotel in Earl's Court.

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing and implementing the marketing plan for our Templeton Garden, working closely with the global marketing team to execute seasonal rooms campaigns and food and beverage initiatives across a variety of channels.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Create promotional materials for the hotel, restaurant and bar using systems including Adobe Creative Suite tools and Canva.
Support sales team with any sales collateral requests.
Update copy for the website and email marketing campaigns.
Be the point person on the ground for the local PR agency – assisting with press visits to the hotel, restaurant and bar.
Proactive outreach to local partners/companies to drive footfall to our food and beverage outlets and to generate engaging programming in our spaces.
Proactively suggest new promotions and partnerships for F&B outlets and the hotel. Manage promotional calendar and analyse and report on campaign performance.
Partnerships: Confident to be the on the ground individual to coordinate hotel partnerships with unique brands that fit with our values to create a real community, and which give guests an authentic experience, true to the neighbourhood of Earl's Court.
Oversee monthly curated events at the hotel – whether it be literary talks, art exhibitions, bar takeovers etc., providing opportunities for data capture and database building.
Social Media Management: Ability to manage content creation and the social strategy for our channels and platforms (together with our PR agency). Assisting in increasing engagement, followers and brand awareness.
Photography: Oversee photoshoots, whether it be liaising with photographers or capturing the content yourself, as well as effective communication internally to ensure overall success of marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams: Working closely with the individual hotel teams – sales, revenue management and operations so that marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
Reporting and analysis: Ability to analyse marketing campaigns/promotions and their success.

At least 3 years in a similar position, ideally within the hospitality industry.

ROLE OVERVIEW (maternity cover):

This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the launch and execution of a new lifestyle brand, delivering ‘brilliantly considered stays’ across 10 locations in Europe.

Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, we are looking for a passionate and strong Senior Marketing Manager to help lead the marketing team, coordinating the launch plan of the brand, the individual hotels, and their F&B outlets.

This is a unique position in shaping the launch of a brand from scratch.

You will develop the programming and partnerships for each hotel alongside the dedicated local and global PR agencies and will ensure Miiro’s objectives and goals are developed and implemented.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MARKETING & BRAND STRATEGY

Marketing Strategy: To guarantee success in this role, the candidate needs to have a good understanding of how to develop, execute and deliver a strategic marketing plan for the launch of the brand, individual hotels, and the respective food and beverage outlets. You will help to develop marketing campaigns and initiatives, creating budgets and timelines, and coordinate with the internal teams to ensure successful implementation. You will need to have a self-directed drive to seize opportunities for commercial growth.

Brand: Be a brand ambassador for Miiro as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our team. Ensure that when executing our marketing strategy, all channels have brand consistency, are aligned in achieving ROI and raise awareness of the brand, hotels, and F&B outlets.

Collaborate with internal teams: Working closely with the individual hotel teams – sales, revenue management and operations to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.

PROGRAMMING & PARTNERSHIPS

Partnerships: Proactively suggest new promotions and partnerships for F&B outlets and the hotel. Manage F&B calendar of events and promotions plus analyse and report on campaign performance. Oversee photoshoots.

Programming: Plan and execute a range of events across the brand pillars, providing opportunities for data capture and database building. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools that support the programme and content strategy.

Evaluate and present new opportunities across existing and emerging digital platforms for collaborative campaigns.

DIGITAL & SOCIAL MARKETING

Working closely with the Director of Marketing to creatively approach the design and delivery of strategic campaigns, including creative development, social media, email marketing, paid advertising and website landing pages.

Website: Manage and maintain the websites, ensuring all content is optimised to meet business objectives.

E-Marketing: Oversee the newsletter calendar, producing engaging content for maximum return.

Social Media Management: Help to manage social media channels and plan relevant content for each hotel and the overarching brand, together with the agencies and in accordance with brand guidelines. Assist in increasing engagement, followers and brand awareness.

Reporting & Analysis: Demonstrate solid ability to report on web and digital activities alongside strategic recommendations.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:


Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in F&B marketing (restaurants and bars).
Fluent in English and French.
Solid attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong written and communication skills.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Knowledge of reporting tools like Google Analytics, plus design programmes like Indesign and Photoshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Group Sales Executive , where teamwork and collaboration are key! In this role, you'll work closely with various departments, focusing on converting and handling incoming inquiries. Unlike traditional reactive roles, you'll leave the contracting, planning, and payment tasks to the Reservations team, allowing you to focus on moving on to the next business opportunity.

You'll also be responsible for distributing leads that exceed our guidelines or fall within the portfolios of our Sales Managers and Directors of Sales. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in generating new business from our own platforms, databases, and historical data, optimizing existing opportunities while our sales team is out creating new demand. This position is ideal for a proactive in-house seller looking to excel in conversion and drive business growth.


Handling Enquiries: The role is responsible for:

Responding to group enquiries from all platforms (CVENT, HOTELPLANNER, MYEVENTSCHANNEL)
Managing enquiries from shared inboxes
Qualifying leads
Follow-up and conversion
Upselling on existing business (F&B, upgrades, M&E services)


Supporting SM & DOS: The position will assist with:

Monitoring enquiry funnels, generating reports, and tracking tentative bookings
Supporting SM in deploying local tactics and managing a small portfolio of MICE & GROUP agents for new business development


Demand Generation: Using on-site tools, the role will prospect new business from:

CVENT PLANNER and other business development tools
Past/lost business and cross-property business from other Hyatts/Cycas
Market research projects as directed by SM (e.g., prospecting new contacts at local universities)


Platform Management: The role will also update offers on all platforms and listings, manage the local database, and help generate demand from existing channels.
Building Relationships: The candidate will build rapport with agents, frequent clients, event organizers, and sales teams from sister properties.

Post Stay Survey, forward thinking approach to understand what went well or wrong during their stay and set foundations for future business.

About the role – A Day in the life of our Sales Manager.

This role contributes to the Cycas Hospitality vision, goals and values and is responsible for supporting the overall revenue and performance throughout the property. Our Sales Manager reports directly to the Hotel Director of Sales, works closely with the Area Director of Sales and the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies in key market segments maximising all opportunity supporting revenue objectives.

You will be adept at sourcing new leads and business opportunities. This role will be focused on all market segments and geographical areas to include national and local corporate companies and various industry sectors through focused research, utilising local knowledge and contacts, intelligence tools and social media platforms.

The Sales Manager will use their experience in proactive sales, ideally within the hospitality sector, to leverage new accounts whilst managing an existing portfolio of clients. The candidate will exude great customer service skills, with a natural passion and enthusiasm for sales and relationship building. The Sales Manager is highly driven, tenacious and will be motivated by success. A good, professional manner is essential.
