PROJECT ENGINEER
Carbon60 are recruiting for a Project Engineer to work for a large engineering company that supply valves, fittings and flow control equipment to the water, wastewater and oil and gas industries throughout the world.
This Project Engineer is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who is qualified either mechanically or electrically to HNC/ HND or City & Guilds (or equivalent).
Role Responsibilities:
As a project engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the businesses drive for continuous improvement. You will ensure the allocated portfolio of projects are delivered in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
- Liaise with suppliers as required and also ensure supplier deliverables are managed effectively.
- Ensure projects are planned, managed and delivered within agreed budgets.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with customers regarding plans, progress and issues
- Provide weekly and monthly forecasts of the revenue income for the portfolio/ projects.
- Attend site meetings and undertake site inspections when required
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within engineering
- Electrically or mechanically qualified
- Technical background ideally within actuators, values or associated equipment
- Full driving licence
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Car + Benefits + 4% profit bonus scheme
Please note, this is a field based role travelling across North West England.
