Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is an ambitious, dynamic housing association with strong community roots. We are focused on building homes and communities where people can thrive and delivering valued services to our customers.
We’re now seeking a Business Support Co-ordinator to lead, coordinate and develop the key support functions within the Assets and Sustainability Team. You’ll ensure tasks are prioritised and actioned within required timescales, relevant documents are organised, and colleagues are kept up to date.
You’ll support the Surveying team in ad-hoc functions to include; collating and providing monthly transactional data to the relevant team and setting up new contracts, raising, managing, closing and GRN’ing purchase orders. You’ll update completed component information and pictures into the Asset Management database and call customers with updates, recording on the case management system as appropriate. You’ll also assist in general team invoicing, taking ownership to ensure required invoices are actioned appropriately, and take meeting minutes during contract and ad-hoc meetings as required, ensuring all relevant information is captured and shared with the correct persons.
We’d like you to have…
Experience of working in a Housing Association and engaging with vulnerable people.
Support the Surveying team in ad-hoc functions.
GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
Experience with IT systems to gather, store and process information together with an understanding of the benefits of IT to monitor and enhance service delivery
Experience in creating agendas and taking meeting minutes
Excellent written, verbal and telephone communicative skills utilising these skills to communicate with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, suppliers and partners to ensure an integrated contribution to GCH corporate objectives.
Be highly organised with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
