The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to join our team.
In this role, you’ll lead, develop and motivate a team of Quality Inspectors to meet and exceed the high standards our business and industry demand. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, you’ll play a key role in driving excellence across our production processes.
This is a hands-on role that requires a logical and technical approach to understanding our build process and the complexities of our hand-built motorhomes. An interest in the industry and a passion for our product would be a real advantage.
Main duties
Your responsibilities may include:
• Act as the main point of contact for our established quality team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Maintain and enhance existing quality KPIs, ensuring alignment with production and business goals.
• Analyse and present data trends to identify early detection signals and perform thorough root cause analysis.
• Lead and participate in regular cross-departmental meetings (daily and weekly) to address quality challenges and foster collaboration.
• Manage non-compliance reporting, including investigation, documentation and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Adopt a hands-on approach, working closely with quality inspectors and production teams to ensure high standards are upheld.
• Promote and embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all teams.
• Collaborate with managers across departments
• Assist in developing and implementing internal quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
