Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing elements for the related Medical Solutions portfolio to implement the growth strategy and achieve the financial objectives. This includes product and clinical training, market research, voice of customers gathering, leveraging market and competitive analysis, developing marketing plan with targeting and segmentation, formulating a targeted value proposition, and creating a solutions portfolio marketing strategy with seamless implementation. The role will report directly to the General Manager of Korea.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
Lead and supervise the marketing team.
Manage and report on the marketing budget.
Set and monitor the team goals and their execution keenly.
Be responsible for the competitive strategy / pricing to achieve market share objectives; sets direction for product marketing plans to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies.
Track KPIs to achieve the sales and marketing objectives of the Cardinal Health respective portfolio.
Understand customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought and prioritizing customer segments and business opportunities to lead needs-based segmentation.
Identify external resources/ strategic partners to contribute to integrated customer solutions.
Facilitate innovative total customer offering development to ensure customer success.
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in the health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community to drive market shaping activities.
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
10+ years experience in marketing or product marketing preferably in medical device or health care industry
Deep marketing expertise in conducting market & customer insights; drives pricing strategy, product commercialization and branding.
Excellent communication skills with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Robust team player
Analytical mindset with quantitative skills.
Strong business acumen – ability to translate marketing plan to drive commercial goals.
Highly fluent in English. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals.
Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross – functional teams.
Embraces out-of-the-box thinking in engaging and challenging teams when looking at challenges and opportunities.
