You Have:  

• Experience performing mission engineering or requirements analyses of DoD missions, developing mission-based inputs for requirements processes, or supporting assessment of mission capabilities

• Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and simulation tools such as AFSIM or Cameo

• 2+ years of experience with the DoD Program Executive Office (PEO)

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience with project management, business analytics, project analytics, or data science
• Experience with consulting practices, including requirements gathering, project scope, and people management
• Experience with business, project, program, or portfolio performance metrics, including establishing, analyzing, and reporting
• Experience with data science and data visualization tools, including R, Tableau, Power BI, and Python
• Experience leading teams and developing junior staff, including technical and non-technical staff
• Experience with business development, including marketing and proposals
• Ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional, and diverse professional organization
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• 10+ years of experience as an operations research analyst
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, CS, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience advising and collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate data, optimize data usage, and promote information sharing
• Ability to analyze, report, and develop recommendations on data related to operational metrics
• Ability to prepare detailed assessment reports that represent data as useful information and ensure the analysis presents meaningful results
• Possession of excellent organizational skills

The Opportunity:  

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you’ll assist in the evaluation of data assessment strategies to help deliver solutions.  

You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work with our client and team to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data. Once documented, you’ll help develop and present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency. In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to help devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Use your operations research experience to develop technologies and concepts that advance the DoD.

You Have:

• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel

• Ability to perform a wide variety of cost analysis assignments in support of the program including Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and Program Office Estimates (POE)

• Ability to develop or evaluate cost assessments and cost positions related to systems development, demonstration, and production approaches

• Ability to assess impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems

• Ability to work with SMEs to develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) that will stand up to Army and DoD level review

• Secret clearance

Key Role:

Work closely with a variety of clients to capture and document information requirements, formulate data collection plans, and implement normalization processes. Interpret results independently using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex data analysis.
