About the Team:
The Valuation Control Group (VCG) is an independent global group within Product Control, responsible for reviewing and reporting fair value inventory and Rates and Currencies positions consistently across all asset classes. VCG collaborates closely with its client base to ensure complete understanding of business valuation issues and accurate execution of valuation control policy.
This role would suit an individual with a strong background in product control, valuation or market risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising the Rates and Currencies Valuation Control business from a global valuation perspective
Supporting valuation control related production, such as IPV (Independent Price Verification), Valuation Adjustments and Fair Value Hierarchy results.
Working as subject matter expert in all strategic initiatives related to Derivatives IPV , Valuation Adjustment automation , Fair Value hierarchy automation.
Relationship management and development across other peers within FXLM (Foreign Exchange and Local Markets) and across other asset classes
Working across multiple locations and departments (New York, Warsaw, London, Singapore)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of Finance-related experience, ideally in a financial control, valuation, product control or a related discipline.
Candidates with Market Risk background are very welcome to apply.
Financial products and valuation control related knowledge would be a strong plus.
Proficiency in any of these: VBA, SQL, Data management software; Python would be a great advantage
Strong analytical skills; High volume data analysis background is a plus
Quantitative background/experience would be a great asset
Fluent English (verbal/written) at min. B2 level, and strong communication and leadership skills
