Wright Public Entity serves as a management company providing claims administration, risk management & loss control, underwriting & marketing, and client services in New York for the NY Schools Insurance Reciprocal (NYSIR: ‘A’ rated by Best), NY Municipal Insurance Reciprocal (NYMIR: ‘A-’ rated by Best) and Statewide Schools Health Plan. We also act as a TPA for Workers Compensation for various self-insured schools & municipalities in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of mail merge letter

• Support CSR with processing of endorsement requests as received daily

• Process policy requests from broker

• Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures

• Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data

• Maintain follow-up system for correspondence/requests

• Scanning and other clerical tasks, as assigned

• Open Shell policies for Claims

• Do all endorsements to Shell policies as needed

Competencies:

• Possesses the ability to organize and prioritize work activities timely and efficiently

• Possesses good written and oral communication skills

• Possesses the ability to analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and select the best course of action in a timely manner

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent, required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required

• Salary Range: $40,000 - $43,000 depending on experience
