This Supervisory Transportation Security Specialist (Director, International Compliance Division) position is located in the Compliance, Security Operations (SO), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensures International Compliance staff meet objectives and deadlines set by the AA/DAA for Compliance or higher authority. Ensures compliance with overall directives; establishes management controls for staff activities; provides a means for evaluating organizational accomplishments; and directs and implements process improvements for procedures.
• Advises the AA/DAA for Compliance on matters affecting the strategic and operational direction of Compliance.

• In collaboration with the AA/DAA for Compliance, lays out the overall goals to further TSA's evolution into a high performing counter-terrorism organization. Supports implementation of emerging initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of transportation security; encourages collaboration, information sharing, and engagement with internal and external domestic and international stakeholders to support the security of the worldwide transportation network.
• Provides direct management guidance and supervision for the Regional Operations Center (ROC) Directors.
• Monitors organizational performance metrics in accordance with TSA mission, vision, goals, and objectives; continually assesses the effectiveness of operations and programs and adjusts as needed to meet emerging priorities

The Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is located at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS). The CSCO is responsible for the development and integration of a cohesive, forward-looking supply chain that ensures the logistical requirements of TVHS with multiple sites of care and supported catchment area are met.

The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is the senior supply chain management officer for a VA Health Care System (VA HCS) with multiple sites of care and supported catchment area, responsible for the development and integration of a cohesive, forward-looking supply chain that ensures the logistical requirements of the VA HCS with multiple sites of care and supported catchment area are met. Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization, including planning/coordination with fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations. Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions throughout the VA HCS for all aspects of the supply chain including requirements determination, acquisition planning/coordination/oversight, purchasing, transportation, distribution, tracking, inventory management/control, reconciliation of undelivered orders, and disposition of supplies and equipment. Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness and efficiency reviews based on self-developed and nationally developed standards, of all HCS activities to ensure they provide satisfactory levels of service and comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, directives and procedures. The major duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Standardizes business processes and establishes performance measures.
• Integrates and aligns acquisition, delivery and management of supplies, equipment and services to ensure the successful delivery of patient care.
• Analyzes the supply chain developing actions as a result of analysis results, metrics, quality assurance/compliance, operating practices, and reporting.
• Conducts strategic planning and quality management of the equipment and leasing programs.
• Plans, develops and adapts the supply chain management procedures as needed to coordinate the management and control of all expendable (EX) and non-expendable (NX) inventory.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of the logistics activities and operations.

• Utilizes financial information to match projected expenditure rates with acquisition lead times and anticipated workloads.
• Leads the development of long-range plans and consolidated requirements into acquisition strategies for services, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborates with leadership to ensure integrated and seamless logistics and acquisition support to customers.
• Plans, organizes and assigns work to subordinates engaged in logistics and property management through subordinate supervisors.
• Ensures all subordinates supervisors and staff keep compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, directives and procedures.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization;
• Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations;
• Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain;

• Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model;
• Forecast planning and budget execution for healthcare resources and services, supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution;
• Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The company has been established for 50 years and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Current annual revenues exceed £20M and employee numbers exceed 200. ROD has an office in Otley near Leeds and two offices in Dublin. There are 12 shareholders of ROD, all of whom are full-time employees of the company.

The office in Otley was established in 2019 and a separate operating company, Roughan and O'Donovan UK Ltd, was incorporated in 2018. There are currently 19 people working in the Otley office with a plan to increase this over the coming years.
Current UK projects the team are involved in are:

• A5 Western Transport Corridor ECI,
• A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe D&B,
• Clyde Waterfront and Renfrew Riverside Bridge,
• A47 Harfrey's Roundabout and
• Herring Bridge and Approaches, Great Yarmouth and
• Cross Tay Link Road.

Whilst these are major highways and bridge projects, there is an extensive element of Active Travel, SUDS, Environment and Geotechnical elements to them with a keen focus on sustainability.
Past projects include:

• A6 Randaltown to Castledawson,
• A1231 Northern Spire and approaches and
• M8-M73-M74 Motorway Upgrade.

Revenues at ROD UK Ltd are currently of the order of £2M per annum. ROD has an extensive portfolio of past projects in the Highways & Transportation sector in Ireland, having provided services to public-sector, contractor and PPP clients on more than 500km of motorway projects, and Greenways, for instance.

ROD is also a market leader in Urban Realm and Active Travel project design in Ireland and has been requested to provide training in this sector in the UK based on our large portfolio of completed projects. Sustainability and liveability are cornerstones of our design philosophy, and we strive to incorporate circular economy principles in all of our project designs. ROD has targeted the UK market as its principal growth area and is now seeking to recruit an Associate/Technical Director to support the further growth of the ROD UKL business in that sector.
This role is ideal for an individual with a proven ability to provide technical leadership, to develop professional teams, and to provide high quality service to clients. The successful candidate will hold a senior transportation design leadership position in an engineering consultancy and will have the ambition to lead that discipline within the expanding ROD UKL team.

The position will be based in the Otley office.
Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the transportation team, overseeing, supporting, advising and coaching the engineering professionals.
• Supervise highways and transportation projects, lead design evolution and checking with full technical responsibility for deliverables, assign responsibilities and allocate resources efficiently.
• Lead and direct bidding efforts for new highways and transportation projects.
• Be part of the management team in the wider ROD Transportation Group, including organising ROD UKL inputs to projects in Ireland and coordinating resources in Ireland to support UK bidding and projects.
• Maintain excellent levels of customer service.
• Report to the Managing Director of the ROD UKL business.
• Undertake group-wide management functions allocated by the Board.

Required Skills and Experience

• A Chartered Engineer with a university degree, coupled with in excessive of 15 years experience in Civil Engineering design.
• Excellent technical skills in the design of highways, streets, and transportation projects.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of representing the company with clients and external parties.
• Experience of traffic network analysis is desirable but not essential.

Serves as Deputy Director for the Office of Airports, Airports Division Alaska Region responsible for the planning, formulation, direction, implementation, and evaluation of a variety of Airports programs/projects in the Region. We are really excited to work with a bakery located in the heart of London who are currently looking to expand their Supply Chain team with a Logistics and Transport Director. They are currently working with big name cafés and restaurants as well as supplying pastries and baked goods to independent cafés and coffee shops in and around prestigious locations in London. They are a 15 million GBP turnover business and have plans to double in the next 5 years.

Your new role
Your main responsibilities as the Logistics and Transport Director would be overseeing 15+ vans, ensuring they run on time to the routes with a more hands-on approach. You will also be reporting to the Managing Director and spend most of your working time in the warehouse with one day a week spent in the office. In addition, you will be leading a team of around 15-20 people in both the transportation and production departments. As this business grows, you will be leading the operation and strategic approach to logistics and transportation and building out this team as necessary.

A successful candidate will be able to inspire their team and have great leadership qualities whilst also being able to manage a challenging workforce schedule. You will have prior experience in the movement of goods (ideally food products) on time and in full to deliver brilliant customer service. You must be flexible to work varied hours, especially at the beginning of this role where flexibility and visibility is key. (standard hours would be 3pm-midnight)
