• Operates large, complex riding lawn mowers that have multiple or independently controlled cutting decks, and/or specially designed mowers that operate on slopes; lawn and garden tractors with various specialty attachments.
• Operates other types of equipment (e.g., lawn edging equipment, trimmers, brush cutters, brush chippers, etc.) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, picks, pulaskis, digging bars, rakes, etc.), to maintain buildings, grounds, roads, and trails.

A client within the Public Sector based in Lancashire is currently recruiting for a Passenger Transport Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a transportation environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to work with all transport operators and stakeholders, develop public transport schemes and bids for funding and develop our Enhanced Partnership approach.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• contracted bus service provision, mainstream school transport, public transport developments, bus stations and interchanges, managing the English concessionary travel scheme, ticketing initiatives and rail developments.
• lead a diverse team and will work closely with colleagues, councillors and key stakeholders to help shape the council's public transport offer against the Highway and Transport Strategy, Bus Service Improvement Plan and emerging Local Transport Plan.
• work with neighbouring authorities to align activity and manage the joint Concessionary Travel Scheme.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require experience in Passenger Transport ideally operational experience in transporting with bus and rail.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £30 - £35 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.

Your role will be to carry out fault finding, service, repair, and maintenance (PPM and reactive) working across Air conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration systems and Chillers.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for carrying out all associated PPM and reactive maintenance of Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration systems, and Chillers.
• Ensuring all health and safety is being adhered to.
• Ensuring all paperwork is correct and kept up to date.
• Ensuring all compliance paperwork is complete and up to date.
• Working overtime to ensure all client requirements are met.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• You will have completed an apprenticeship with Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration Engineering or equivalent.
• Holding an SVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning ideally.
• Holding City & Guilds FGas 2079 is essential.
• You will possess a great working knowledge of all AC systems.
• A good understanding of Ventilation, Refrigeration systems and Chillers would be advantageous.
• Experience of carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• You will ideally have existing experience within a busy, FM environment.
• Full driving UK licence (6 points maximum).
• Happy to complete Disclosure Scotland.
