About you-Qualifications:

• Professionals with degrees in Maths, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields involving statistical analysis of large data sets.

• Detailed  understanding of CPG/FMCG Industry and Retail market impact on client’s business
• Team management experience-at least 2 years

Job Functions:

• Respond to new requests for reports/data: understand customer objectives and processes; review and refine requirements; and communicate estimated hours and timeline to complete;
• Extract information from multiple company databases that will be used for executing catastrophe models. This includes, working with large complex data sets using tools (e.g. SQL/SAS/Excel or similar), verifying the quality of input data/resolving anomalies, understanding and explaining data quality issues prior to running the modeling software, and modifying computer programs;Import data, run analyses and generate outputs from catastrophe modeling software (e.g. AIR, RMS).
• Prepare documentation of data extraction and modeling processes;
• Format data for business use in Excel, PowerBI, or similar;
• Produce reports manually and through automated scripting; create and maintain scripts and macros used to automate reports;
• Assist with geospatial modeling and map development using GIS services/software

RESPONSIBILITIES

·   Managing clients and their respective projects custom research team in matters of market research based on experience in the Finance, FMCG industry,.

·  Reporting to a project lead, you will be responsible for the successful execution of customized quantitative studies, including project costing, questionnaire design, project management and execution, analysis and report writing.

Role Overview:

The Market Research Fieldwork Operations & Logistics Executive will play a critical role in supporting the execution of fieldwork projects and maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with suppliers, project managers, and research teams to ensure efficient logistics and facilitate smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork Component

• Co-ordination of fieldwork in Market.  Attending fieldwork tests where required.
• Supplier relationship management – communications, supplier meetings, rate card negotiations, supporting co-ordination and resolution of resource conflicts, invoice queries, maintenance of internal databases, etc[LR1] .
• Scan the regional marketplace for new fieldwork suppliers / new capabilities.

RFQ Support

• The role is not expected to assume a heavy responsibility for covering RFQ processing but during peak times support may be needed so training will be provided.

Logistics component

• Product Sourcing: Online, wholesale and in-store.  Co-ordinate deliveries to specified locations, or working with suppliers to source product as applicable.
• Check in goods, maintain accurate records, maintain product/shipment quality
• Manage local 3rd parties (couriers)
• Liaison with local & regional authorities regarding permits etc
• Ordering consumables (boxes, tape etc)
• Preparation of products for collection by couriers, packing, labelling etc
• [Selection and supervision of partners to support debranding / relabelling etc]

• Proven experience in fieldwork operations or logistics management, preferably within a market research environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
