• Provide scientific leadership and expertise toward the elimination of risk of Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella, and other foodborne pathogens thereby reducing the risk of foodborne illness from the consumption of red meat.
• Identify solutions to high priority meat safety problems.
• Establish collaborative multidisciplinary projects with ARS and other researchers.
• Evaluate the influence of spatiotemporal, environmental, and wildlife factors on pathogen and antibiotic resistance occurrence and transmission dynamics in preharvest and postharvest production of beef and pork.

• Performs a broad range of operations research analyses and modeling projects related to the unique environment of influence operations, actions and activities through innovative use of techniques and practices, and discovery of sophisticated modeling approaches, incorporating as appropriate new and promising technologies.
• Exercises full technical responsibility and authority for Information Operations Division influence operations analysis, project development, and implementation of assessments.
• Represents USCENTCOM as the senior Assessments Subject Matter Expert (SME), establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with higher headquarters and external organizations.
• Plans, organizes and provides technical direction to specified assessment personnel/social scientists.

• Responsible for programmatic, technical, and organizational integration within the NESC in conjunction with major Agency programs. Incumbent will integrate essential NESC activities and facilitate communication among and within NESC assessments.
• Provides technical integration for assigned programs and missions, specifically Space Operations Mission Directorate (SOMD); Commercial Crew Program (CCP).
