ACRES wildlife recovery and rehabilitation facility handles over 10 diverse cases (on an average a day) of rescued wild animals, who may be injured from window collisions, animal attacks, traffic accidents, poisoning, glue trap and other accidents.

The focus at this facility is to stabilise, manage and treat these wild animals, aiming for recovery and release back to the wild at the soonest possible. Welfare of these wild animals is of prime importance, keeping handling to the minimum and observation to the maximum.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for the position of the veterinarian– who will work with ACRES’s veterinary nurse to care for the wild animals under treatment. They will work a roster of 5-day work week including weekends. Night shifts to feed nocturnal animals may be required when there are nocturnal animals under our care.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To be able to triage rescued wildlife for signs of distress, disease or injury and provide immediate medical care as well as long term care for the animals.
• Perform surgeries and minor procedures.
• Manage the health of over 200 animals rescued from the illegal. Wildlife trade that are housed at ACRES.
• ensure veterinary protocols and biosecurity measures are adhered to.
• Ensure that veterinary and health-check records are maintained.
• Ensure that the treatment room and stocklist is maintained with proper records and veterinary supplies are stocked as required.
• Assist with emergency rescue (field) operations as required.
• Check enclosures and cages for signs of wear and tear / damage.
• Prepare food, feed and provide enrichment for the animals.
• Clean enclosures and cages.
• Perform final round for end-of-day inspection (animal checklist and housekeeping).
• Work with volunteers and interns.

Requirements:

• Degree in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Medicine
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Able to work with wild animals such as tortoises, turtles, lizards, snakes, bats and birds.
• Able to work weekend days, public holidays as per roster.
• Meticulous and animal-welfare oriented.
• It will be a six-month contract-based position, with the possibility of renewal.

Monthly salary: $3,950 (excluding bonus)

Working directly with our Head of Research Indonesia, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge and contacts to identify exciting investment

ideas within Consumer and Retail coverage with the opportunity to explore emerging sectors. You will assist our clients to access those

A tertiary qualification in economics, finance or a similar discipline

4+ years’ relevant experience gained within sell-side research, buy-side research, investment banking or similar environments; existing

coverage in Consumer, Retail or related sectors would be an advantage

Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and a track record of building solid relationships with international and domestic

institutional clients as well as internal teams globally

Logical and analytical lateral thinker with a passion for equity research and strong drive to succeed

Strong team ethics and the desire to work within a fast-paced environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop tactics for communicating complex medical and scientific information to the healthcare community, including support for answering unsolicited medical questions, adverse event reporting, and other clinically related medical information.
• Acts as a strategic partner alongside Commercial and R&D, and medical and scientific partner to both external and internal stakeholders. 
• Leads the relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with health-care providers, payers, and other medically-focused customers (e.g., regulators, institutional leaders) in accordance with required regulatory and compliance standards
• Develops scientific relationships and external expert engagement on behalf of the organization's customers.
• Communicates complex scientific and medical information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders; builds and fosters strong relationships with key external experts in their shared therapeutic category; works with external experts to execute medical projects that bridge the communication between clinical development and commercial success;  builds and fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders for the benefit of the business;  and gathers and communicates field insights to inform business strategy and medical plans
• Develop tactics for communicating complex medical and scientific information to the healthcare community, including support for answering unsolicited medical questions, adverse event reporting, and other clinically related medical information
• Develop contacts with key clinicians, university teaching hospitals, group purchase organizations and other medical / scientific groups
• Act as a clinical resource with professional and advocacy organizations with the objective of developing relationships and identifying potential business opportunities
• Work closely with internal customers to develop and execute a plan designed to meet shared business/clinical objectives
• Uncover scientific data that may have the potential for publication and/or abstract presentation

Requirements:

• Candidates with a terminal Clinical/Science degrees e.g. MSc, PhD or MD degree will be considered
• Field-based Medical experience preferred, Therapeutic area Hepatology/Hematology/Oncology added advantage
• Effective communicator (written and presentation) with good interpersonal skills and experience of developing and delivering presentations
• Must excel at working independently and in cross-functional teams candidates with a self-starter attitude strongly preferred

Job Scope:

Lead communications with veterinarians and veterinary medical team to maintain the flow of animals in the farm.

Preparation of medication and stocking of medication cabinets.

Follow the veterinary team to provide treatment for animals during and after work hours, including emergency calls.

Handling all administrative work involving filing and keeping of records.

General care for animals in the farm, inclusive of cleaning the animals living places, feeding during mealtimes, administration of medication and checking on their well being.

Requirements:

Degree, Diploma or certification in veterinary relevant studies.

Computer literate.

Good communication skills.

Have at least 3 years of experience. If have experience on farm, taking care of animal (especially chicken) is an advantage.
