Your new role
You will be taking on a full-time Science role after the Summer holidays (Monday 2nd September), and will be required to teach all three sciences to both KS3 and KS4 pupils. Having a candidate with a specialism in chemistry or biology would be advantageous, although not essential. Your new company
Due to a high demand for Science Teachers across Bolton andsurrounding areas, Hays Education are looking to register a number of Scienceteachers of all experience levels.
Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching your Science discipline, or in some cases across all 3 areas at Secondary schools across Greater Manchester.
In a long term role you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom. You will also be expected to attend and prepare for Parents Evenings throughout the academic calendar.
Behaviour management will also be your priority, as well as ensuring pupils are achieving to the best of their ability and engaging with the subject in your classroom.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a registered teacher with Hays Education, you must possess QTS / QTLS and ideally have experience of teaching your 1 Science discipline, or teaching all 3 Sciences across KS3 and KS4.
You must give full commitment to the role that you accept, and show your work ethic and flexibility to adjust to your new environment.

Key Responsibilities

• To support and actively participate in product pricing
• Implement innovative products to add value to business
• Conduct regular analysis of the experiences and impacts of the products to the business
• Assist in managing product pricing, product filing, and reinsurance negotiation for Singapore office
• Assist in implementing product development related tasks including product setup testing and maintenance
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects that support the Company/Department's initiatives in Singapore

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science or any quantitative discipline
• 6 to 9 years of actuarial practices in Life Pricing
• At least passed a few preliminary examinations especially life contingencies paper (e.g.: SOA Exam MLC)
• Prophet modelling experience on life products will be an added advantage
