Job Brief:

This position is responsible to assist on execution of Tune Protect Group’s product strategy encompassing all customer segments and various stages of product development life cycle to support the company business objective. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a clear compelling product proposition that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
• Lead market analysis to identify customer pain points, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to shape product propositions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure that product features align with the overall proposition.
• Lead cross-functional team to ensure successful product proposition development and launch.
• Collect and analyze data on market trends, consumers behaviors and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.
• Prepare detailed presentation, summarizing marketing findings and strategic recommendation to upper management. 
• Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by supervisor 

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in managerial position
• Travel Industry / Insurtech background is an advantage
• Experience in business project management
• Excellent command in written and spoken English
• Possess a ‘Solution mindset’ that focus on finding practical answer and opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Senior Science Technician to work within a large Science department. You will be working alongside an experienced Science technician with a wealth of knowledge in what health and safety inspectors called "the best prep room in the Walsall borough".
The ideal candidate will show good initiative and the ability to follow procedures.


Main duties include:

• Keeping up to date with the latest health and safety guidance, legal requirements and good practice.
• Line manager to Science Technician
• Management of the Science Prep room
• Advising teachers on Health and Safety, practical techniques, suitability of experiments & chemicals and safer alternatives.
• Helping and advising pupils with investigations and projects.
• Researching and trialling equipment and experiments for improved results and better health and safety, which includes contacting CLEAPSS for safer alternatives
• Maintaining inventories & stock lists
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring materials are safe and in good order, including mandatory checks.
• Ensuring hazardous materials are kept secure and checking stock.
• Must be willing to become a First Aider and undertake the relevant training.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Actuarial Specialist, Group Business within the Life and Health team of Munich Re Singapore Branch. You will be based in Singapore, with an oversight of the Southeast Asian markets. You will report to the Regional Head of Group Life and will be exposed to a multitude of responsibilities ranging from group pricing, case underwriting, inforce management, business development, projects and client management. This is also a client-facing role where you will communicate and work with internal and external clients.

Your role

• Responsible for ongoing group quotation activities and coordination, technical pricing and case underwriting for facultative group employee benefits schemes, group affinity schemes and group credit life schemes.
• Responsible for ongoing inforce management with the main focus on premium and claims reconciliation and validation.
• Responsible for ongoing group reinsurance treaty/account management, reporting and experience monitoring.
• Support the Regional Head of Group Life in multiple business development activities and planning.
• Manage assigned group accounts; establish new and foster existing business relationships; organise activities according to our client service plans and client prioritisation.

Your profile

• Actuarial degree is necessary with good progress in actuarial exams.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the insurance and / or reinsurance industry is essential.
• Solid understanding and extensive experience of the group life insurance business, benefits and practices in SEA markets.
• Previous working experience in actuarial reporting/valuation, experience study, reinsurance accounting or inforce management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, investigative mindset and ability to analyse large amount of data
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI; familiarity with other data analytics tools and software will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent social skills and intercultural competence.
• Excellent time management skill, able to work independently and efficiently under time pressure, organised and self-driven.

Job Requirement:

1. Education and Experience:

· Min. Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Organometallic Chemistry.

· At least 3 years(PhD)/5 years (Master’s degree) of working experience in research and development and product management role. Significant R&D exposure to specialty chemicals or semiconductor wafer fab environment is considered advantageous.

2. Technical Skills:

· Strong technical background and proficiency in engineering principles, design methodologies, and product development processes.

· Knowledge of relevant technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes related to the industry.

· Understanding of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing procedures relevant to product development.

· Strong instrumentation hands on experience will be preferred.

3. Product Management:

· Knowledge and experience in product management concepts, including market research, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management.

· Strong business acumen and understanding of financial aspects related to product management.

· Strong project management skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute product development projects.
