Regional Marketing Director leads the strategies for PH/CVM assets in market and pipeline across Asia Pacific markets. Working in collaboration with OpCos, global partners and cross-functional teams for the relevant brads in Asia Pacific using expertise to define strategic focus, align business plans and deliver successful outcomes for the relevant assets in scope.
1. Disease Area Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Develop and deploy strategic business plans for the Asia Pacific region by effectively addressing regional and country specific needs to support patients and the marketplace
- Ensure execution of the plan as aligned in a timely, effective and collaborative manner.
- Understand the needs of policy makers, KOLs, and HCPs to support the use of Janssen products in the treatment of relevant disease states in the region
- Align Company, Franchise and Brand strategies to drive successful outcomes and deliver compliant growth
- Lead, support and develop accelerated growth strategies by driving stronger strategy alignment, deeper market insights, closer collaboration at region & global levels as well as strong engagement across Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs and R&D.
- Influence global R&D development plan (TPP) to reflect early defined regional needs and anticipated future practices in AP key markets in order to provide optimal data package for accesses to innovative early assets in AP
- Co-lead with Regional XFT to define strategic data generation needs to enhance access and/or competition
- Develop creative strategies for the adoption of products, using different platforms such as Digital to improve market performance.
- Leverage commercial excellence capabilities, strong business expertise and stakeholder insights to develop and apply next generation analytics, clinical and customer knowledge to deliver business outcomes.
- Apply financial accountability and balanced management of budgets, investment choices and involvement in budget planning
- Identify and coordinate resources, monitor operating expenses, and maintain key relationships essential to achieving growth and profitability targets, regardless of market conditions.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Commercial Engagement
- Forge deep relationships with key stakeholders across multiple markets and functions, to deliver a cohesive business plan aligned with business drivers
- Collaborate with cross functional team to successful deliver and execute the strategy as well as country teams, global teams and R&D as appropriate
- Engage with OpCos to identify opportunities and leverage capabilities that will ensure a cohesive, aligned strategy
- Coordinate efforts with business partners across the region and across functions to deliver customer excellence, achieve customer goals and drive growth.
- Drive robust discussions and collaborate across functions to drive the relevant policy shaping debates
- Support capability building and development across markets to improve relevant business capabilities
- Encourage out of the box thinking through collaboration and idea generation, identifying opportunities and new approaches
- Work in collaboration with regional and global teams to seek best practice cases and opportunity to leverage ideas from other markets
- Input on local issues and requirements to brand strategy & plans.

Qualifications
- A minimum of relevant Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field or MBA preferred
- A minimum of eight (8) years of professional Sales and Sales Management or Marketing and /or Marketing Management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or healthcare industry is required
- A minimum of two years in Marketing and/or Marketing Management or a Commercial Excellence / Analytics function is required
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and leading a cross functional / cross geographic team is strongly preferred.
- Experience in PH and/or CVM therapeutic area desired
- Understanding of key stakeholders in the region preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time, including overnight and weekend to support business needs as required
