As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

• Lead Research & Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers across various industries who would benefit from Teleport’s logistics solutions. Develop a deep understanding of target customer profiles to build a qualified lead pipeline.
• Automation of Outreach Loops: Research and implement automated systems to streamline lead generation, outreach, and follow-up processes. Use SaaS tools (e.g., Lemlist, Pipedrive) to create workflows that allow consistent, scalable, and effective communication with leads.
• Outreach Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimize these systems to ensure high efficiency and effectiveness. Update workflows, sequences, and lead prioritization strategies as needed based on performance metrics.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Ensure smooth data flow between automated systems and CRM tools, enhancing the visibility of lead status and activity.

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Someone who loves to automate stuff - excited by the prospect of working with different tools

What you will do:

Your new company
You will be joining a well-established company who work closely with the construction industry, joining an existing team of 4 external sales managers to provide customer support from query through to delivery. This varied role offers excellent progression routes and would be a great developmental role for someone who has customer service experience and wants to start or develop their career in sales.

Your new role
In this office-based role, you will log sales queries on lead trackers, send out samples, respond to questions on the products, estimate quantities required from technical plans, attend sales visits with the external sales team and provide overall administrative support to the team.
You will not only liaise with internal stakeholders, but have direct phone, email and face-to-face contact with the clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and able to prioritise your own workload.
You will be able to effectively follow up and generate sales leads for the external sales team and be confident working in a customer-facing role.
Previous experience of working within the trade or construction sector would be highly beneficial, although any customer service background will be considered.

Our ID (Infectious Disease) business has an exciting opportunity for two Intern / Year in Industry Placement Students to join our Sales and Key Account Management team, supporting the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics group in leading the move toward Point Of Care within both a primary and secondary care setting, requiring managing and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders and pathways.

Through assisting the Key Account Managers to achieve regional / organisational goals (with guidance from a mentor), you’ll learn and gain hands on experience of a challenging diagnostic healthcare market, sales process and various stages of the sales funnel along with understanding of how a leading global organisation works including experience of internal systems and processes.

Day to day, you will:

• Work closely with Manager and designated Mentor completing all allocated tasks
• Observe and apply sales techniques
• Liaise and attend meetings as appropriate with customers on behalf of the Key Account Manager
• Help maintain and develop customer relationships
• Learn and become proficient in internal systems including CRM, updating and maintaining sales records accordingly.
• Conduct market research to generate new potential customers / leads

You will currently be studying a bachelors level qualification, with preference given to those in the areas of Sciences, Business, or Marketing.
