Administration & Customer Support for our International Student Recruitment Team
QA Higher Education, fulltime 12 month fixed term contract
London or Birmingham based, Hybrid Working (mainly at home)

About our role: (FULL TRAINING PROVIDED) As Administrator within our International Student Recruitment team, you will be responsible for the full admin journey of the international student application process from initial enquiry through to enrolment onto our undergrad or postgrad courses here in the UK.

Provide first class customer service to our partners, agents and students.
Create sense of engagement with students and their admissions process
Advising on payment methods (by card, BACS, on campus or loan letters) chasing and taking outstanding payments; responding to student's concerns and understanding competition from other institutions
Ensuring regular contact to maintain students' commitment
Maintaining unconditional pipeline up to date, i.e. cancelling and deferring applications, understanding reasons behind it. Reporting to a wider recruitment team

Bring your experience:
Previous experience working within a university or in higher education very desirable.
Customer-focussed driven with customer service experience
Planning and organising activities of self and/or others.
Self-Starter, quick to take the initiative and spot new opportunities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer focus, committed to ensuring delivery of excellent service standards
Ability to work to given deadlines

Job Purpose:
Engaging with senior stakeholders within the customer organisation, acting as a trusted advisor and maintaining strong relationships.

A Day In the Life:

• Liaise internally with colleagues to ensure all quality standards are achieved
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to meet milestones and uphold quality standards.
• Support with contractual risk areas, overseeing and monitoring customer contract commitments and KPIs, as relevant.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans and track progress to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Maintain strong relationships with members of the client team
• Interrogate relevant systems to produce insightful reports for clients to support the management of their programmes and events
• Raise issues that risk project delivery and/or agreed costs and timescales
• Escalate risks to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate them
• Deliver high levels of customer service to assist the wider sales team in developing strategic client  
• Your role will also involve identifying and mitigating risks, initiating process improvements, and maintaining strong relationships across QA to support overall objectives.

A top legal 500 law firm based in the City is seeking a Compliance Co-ordinator, paying up to £40,000 plus benefits, to join their growing team.

Initially the role will be working on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 from home which will then change to 2 days in the office and 3 from home after probation.

The position of Compliance Co-ordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Compliance and Senior Compliance Advisor. as well as the rest of the firm.

Duties will include the following:

• General administrative support for the department e.g. filing, photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, post distribution, typing, receiving of phone calls
• Organising meeting and diary assistance for the Head of Compliance and Senior Compliance Advisor
• Assisting with the Lexcel Independent File Reviews and Lexcel Annual Maintenance Assisting with the firm's online training and identifying staff who have not completed their training
• Updating various Compliance registers
• Monitoring the firm's Compliance Policies and assisting with updating them
• Assisting with the firm's annual CQS re-accreditation
• Conducting AML/CDD of varying levels of complexity across a range of sectors, practices, and jurisdictions on all new and appropriate existing client instructions in a timely and efficient manner
• Anti-Money Laundering - assisting with implementing and conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) process
• Performing due diligence checks on new and existing counter-parties to identify risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Assisting members of the team with research projects and day-to-day compliance with AML regulatory matters as they arise
• Administering ongoing monitoring, enhanced due diligence and sanction regime procedures.
• Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Any other duties as may be requested from time to time by the Head of Compliance or the Senior Compliance Advisor

The ideal candidate will come from a compliance background and have ideally worked within a law firm or within a similar industry. You will understand the structure of law firms, working closely with partners and Solicitors, as well as audit and accreditations processes. The knowledge of Lexcel and use Partner for Microsoft would be advantageous.

They are looking for an experienced Inspector who is experienced in overseeing legal disrepair cases.

• To ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to
• Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain gearing maximum leverage and work seamlessly within the business
• Responsible for overseeing some members of the team
• Firm Understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works and disrepair building maintenance surveying background would be desirable
