• In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context
• Ensure follow-up of detected issues and deliver the commissioning reports.
• Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.
• Support V&V team and perform test in lab as per request
• Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with client policies, local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety)

Requirements

• This role would suit an energetic and experienced quality engineer who has worked with main and subcontractors for over 10 years
• Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
• Railway and signaling knowledge, Previous Engineering, V&V, T&C or Maintenance for Railway Signaling is an asset.

Job Description:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in web services testing using SoapUI or Postman.
• Experience in web application testing is required.
• Familiarity with automation testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or QTP is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in testing activities, with a willingness to write and execute test cases on a daily basis.
• Proficiency in at least one test management tool and one defect management tool is required.
• Experience in sanity testing, regression testing, and system integration testing (SIT).
• Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing processes is essential.
• Good attitude and strong communication skills are required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt during the ramp-up period; must be able to become hands-on quickly.
• Exposure to Selenium automation development is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent/higher

Language:

Fluent written and spoken English

• Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment.
• Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product quality risks.
• Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
• Ensure that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
