Your new role

General Responsibilities:

• Receiving deliveries
• Checking and labelling deliveries
• Locating stock
• Product assembly
• Mailroom and print room duties
• Picking and packing customer orders
• General warehouse duties

Specific Duties:

• All incoming deliveries should be signed "Unchecked". Deliveries received damaged or open should be marked "Damaged/opened/unchecked" on both the Carrier/Courier and companies copies of the delivery note. This should be signed as such by both the deliverer and receiver. Wherever possible a photograph of the damage should be taken and attached to the delivery note.
• Ensure stock to be booked into Stores reconciles to the appropriate paperwork, before updating the Sales System.
• Picking must be dealt with in date order, unless otherwise requested by the Shipping Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

• Assembling products where required. Ensuring that assembly procedures are followed, and accuracy is maintained.

• Perform mailroom duties such as printing, cutting, and inserting.
• Packing shipments, ensuring they reconcile to the packing list and invoice/barcode label.
• Clear general and recyclable waste.
• Keep work areas and walkways clear and accessible.

The Job

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers
• Possessing an up to date Cat C Driving licence
• Carrying out multi drop HIAB deliveries to our customers in a safe and timely manner
• Adhering to all legislative requirements
• The contracted hours for this role are 37 or more
