Are you an experienced and passionate retail professional ready to take the next step in your career? Esperance Fresh Food IGA is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our store.

- Permanent and full-time position
- Annual salary of $74,000 to $90,000 per annum plus super
Duties:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the store.
- Lead a busy supermarket, with a particular focus on keeping fresh food well-stocked and appealing.
- Meet sales, gross profit targets, and manage labor costs effectively.
- Oversee pricing strategies, promote sales efforts, and run regular store-wide promotions.
- Ensure the store complies with all legal requirements and meets audit standards.
- Maintain company standards by implementing procedures to prevent loss.
- Provide strong leadership to the team, including department managers, to keep everything running smoothly.
- Ensure top-notch customer service across the entire store.
- Negotiate and maintain good business relationships with vendors for favorable terms.
- Communicate clearly with suppliers, customers, and the team to achieve successful outcomes.
- Engage with the local community and represent the company in a positive light.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff while overseeing their performance.
- Keep records and produce reports for ownership, covering financials, staffing, compliance, and other key aspects of the business.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Retail/Management/Leadership/Business/Commerce/Marketing/Human Resource Management or another related field or one (1) year of relevant full-time work experience in lieu of a qualification.
- A friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality with a customer-centric approach and leadership skills.
- Have full rights to work in Australia.
