This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.

About The Role

Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and manage the planning, execution & coordination of all the hotel’s events, internal functions and social events

Manage the department’s event enquiries in an efficient and effective manner
Lead the team to create detailed Banquet Event Orders that are tailored to client requirements
Work closely with the sales team to maximise all potential business leads
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, enabling future bookings
Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by inviting, welcoming and connecting with our guests through each customer experience
Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.
Be a confident and welcoming leader, creating a community that empowers your team to grow and reach their potential
Plan and execute team building activities for your team as together we are better.
Liaise with stakeholders and clients as the main point of contact for events & functions
Salary $70,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the event planning and management team.
• Handle the Help-Estate Event email account on event-related emails, phone calls and correspondences with both internal and external hirer and coordinate all event enquiries and reply with a corrective action procedure within the Work Priority Classification Response Time after receiving the email.

Requirements:
