• This position is rotational based on the assigned area of responsibilities, providing an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of various roles and operations.

Customer Service

• Welcome visitors, provide information and answer questions to enhance their understanding and enjoyment of the centre.
• Assist visitors with interactive activities, ensure the materials are functioning correctly, and provide demonstrations when necessary.
• Handle visitor inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Workshop and Education

• Teaching and engage with participants to ensure an enjoyable and informative experience during the workshop session.
• Collaborate with the educational team to ensure content aligns with the company educational goals.

Bricks/Sculpture Maintenance

• Perform routine cleaning of sculptures as required.
• Assist in maintenance work for sculptures that requires minor maintenance.

Program and Event

• Assist in the coordination and delivery of special events and programs at the centre.
• Use effective communication to inform guests of event schedules and activity details.

Safety and Administration

• Monitor the safety of visitors and assign area, report any issues or malfunctions, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare and carry out daily opening and closing of the centre.

Job Requirements

• Serve as the valuation services expert responsible for cases that range in complexity from routine land tenure adjustments to unprecedented, technically complicated, and politically sensitive cases.
• Review appraisals submitted by staff appraisers and private fee appraisers to determine whether proper appraisal procedures, principles, and techniques were employed, and comply with applicable Federal laws and regulations.
• Exercise role as Review Appraiser and frequently determine adequacy of appraisals for unusual, very large, complex, and/or high value properties where application of conventional appraisal methodology cannot be applied.

• Conducts comprehensive evaluations of ongoing functions to ensure that programs meet their stated goals and identifies areas where operational efficiency could be enhanced.
• Responsible for planning future resource needs; estimates short- and long-range personnel, budgetary, space, and equipment needs and implementing new resources.
• Develop long-range management plans and new substantive well-being programs.

As a Contract Specialist at the GS-1102-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Planning, developing, and establishing the best contractual strategy for an acquisition, soliciting responses from contractors, performing detailed analysis, negotiating, and awarding different types of contracts, such as definite and/or indefinite quantity, requirements based, multi-year, task/delivery orders, purchase orders, etc.
• Interpreting acquisition regulations and policies within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Justice Acquisition Regulation (JAR), while working under general supervision (based on the individual's experience and grade level) and exercising reasonable initiative and independent judgment throughout the procurement process.
• Participating and/or coordinating with technical team members in various working group teams (e.g., integrated product teams, negotiation teams, committees, or contract review boards) to ensure the best possible acquisition outcome is produced.
• Administering the procurements of goods, systems, or services through the use of formally advertised and negotiated procurements, conducting reviews of procurement actions to determine cost effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Performing various contract administrative functions, such as post-award actions, that consistently complies with FAR and other applicable regulations (e.g. JAR, General Services Administration Acquisition Manual (GSAM), etc.), policies, and procedures. This responsibility includes the thorough completion of different contractual actions, such as cost adjustments, incremental funding, issuance of stop work orders/cure notices, or show cause letters, appropriately designating a COR, ensuring compliance with the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and Agency electronic reporting requirements for contract awards and modifications.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Assists in advising on the park's cultural resources, particularly history.
• In concert with the supervisor or higher-graded specialist, identifies, evaluates, and monitors cultural resources, identifies potential threats, and makes recommendations to management regarding status and mitigation of impacts (present and future).
• Assists with creating and implementing segments of the cultural resources management plans, interpretive prospectus, and spin-off documents such as specific plans, action plans, revisions, and fiscal and budget documents
• Conducts historical research for planning documents, including general management plans, special history studies, resources management plan, environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, and special resource studies as required to meet the needs of the park.

• Providing advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
• Interpreting acquisition regulations and policies within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Justice Acquisition Regulation (JAR), while working under minimal supervision of the Procurement Chief, and exercising reasonable initiative and independent judgment throughout the procurement process.

• The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Develops and directs the implementation of program and administrative policies, goals, objectives, and priorities governing the operation of the Division’s field laboratories and laboratory approval service.
