FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Light division based from our Brome depot in Suffolk. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working a mixture of day shifts. As our Traffic Management Operative you will work as part of a team to carry out a range of services including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining and removing traffic management. The duties of the Traffic Management Operative role will include:
-Setting up temporary traffic lights as required
-Assisting with the diversion of traffic
-Maintaining and removing the traffic lights within the required time scale
-Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring public are abiding by lights
-Working closely with management and crews and taking instructions from the management team
-Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on site assessments
-Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notified
-To be on call, out of hours on a rota basis if required
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this role you will have knowledge of traffic management operations, hold a valid CSCS card, traffic management Lanta M5 operative ticket, TTMBC and all 12D qualifications. You must also be able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and be aware and comply with the provided RAMS.
