Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Changi. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and collaborating with teams to ensure effective delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in the facilities management and/or construction industry is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to lead a team to conduct cleaning operations
• Ensure the safety of all all team members at all times
• Deploy your team promptly to handle cleaning operations
• Liaise with clients to ensure that cleaning operations run smoothly
• Service oriented and client comes first mindset
• Assess all cleaning equipments and ensure adequate supplies are always available and consistely update inventory status
• Any ad-hoc matters assigned

Requirements:

• Have relevant supervisory certificates if any
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience in the field

Job Description:

• Developing, executing and ensuring company SOP's are followed throughout assigned sites
• Buiding open and trusting relationship with clients to achieve long term partnership and contractual renewal
• Monitoring and upholding the cleaning and maintenance quality standards and operating procedures for all job-sites and surpass the client's expectations
• Oversee effective OJT training on equipment and skills surrounding latest implementations (robotics and health policies) to maintain high standards of works
• Managing overall staff motivation, discipline, development and performance according to the organizational, human resource and government manpower policies
• Overseeing the assigned job sites according to manpower and site requirements to achieve profitability and cost-effectiveness
• Planning of manpower deployment at various sites to meet the contractual requirement of clients
• Resolving of feedback or complaints from clients and taking immediate preventive measures to ensure that similar problem does not resurface
• Recruiting and interviewing applicants and conducting effective 2-way dialogue performance review
• Ensuring that all related Workplace Safety & Health requirements are met and that monthly updates on Toolbox Meeting Records, Staff Induction Records and any other requirements as stipulated by the Safety Compliance Committee are submitted accordingly.

Job Description:

• Coordinate with supervisor and client to ensure quality service delivery
• Ensure cleaning teams adhere to safety measures to during cleaning operations islandwide
• Compile and analyse relevant data to propose recommendations for cleaning process improvement
• Assist in development and review of operation plans to improve work procedures and quality service delivery
• Review daily cleaning job reports for submission to management
• Maintain stock of supplies of materials and equipment implement maintenance schedules for tools and equipment
• Identify and recommend suitable equipment and/or technologies to improve cleaning operations
• Facilitate planning of work schedules and deployment of manpower, effective work processes and the capability development of staff
• Interpret tender specifications and prepare quotations for cleaning operations
• Assist in negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied
• Ensure that budget guidelines set are followed and deviation to these should be communicated with explanations
• Raise requests for purchases as required within agreed limits and ensure contractual payments are follow up
• Assist in resolving existing contract conflicts Report potential risks on contractual changes to the management

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the cleaning industry
• Possess Class 3 driving license as required to pick up and send workers to and from the dormitories to the respective worksites
• Good Interpersonal, communication and strong leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure
• 6 days’ work week and required to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
