We’re searching for a Senior Engineer to be part of our Facilities Department diverse team of talent. To provide facilities support pertaining to Facilities Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) and other miscellaneous electrical & electronic facilities systems to wafer fabrication so as to ensure continuous supply of utilities & related facilities at the required performance level or specifications.

What you will be working on:

• Formulate and implement operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs for systems in charge so as to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times. Systems include CCTV, card access system, FMCS, Life safety system, instruments for FMCS, Siemens / Rockwell PLC & SCADA control system and other control systems.
• Carry out repair and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time.
• Monitor & review system performance and capacity usage as well as provide regular reports, so as to recommend & implement improvement/enhancement projects.
• Track spares & consumable usage. Ensure adequate provision for day to day operation.
• Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentations are being generated & properly filed for future reference & review.
• Evaluate & recommend appropriate spares, consumables & other resources necessary for the day-to-day operation of the systems.
• Ensure that all quality expectations are up held to meet better than expected customer request.
• Create and innovate new process for continuous improvement to current processes to attain best in class quality and cost.

More about you:

• Master / Degree in Science or Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Control Engineering or equivalent
• Basic engineering knowledge, which may include knowledge in industrial automation & industrial control systems
• 5 - 10 years working experience in semiconductor environment, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry preferred.
• PLC & SCADA Programming
• Good problem-solving skills and strong technical knowledges
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

We’re searching for an Engineer/ Senior Engineer to be part of our Facilities department diverse team of talent. You will be the Subject-Matter-Expert for both the UPW & Chemical Systems.

What you will be working on:

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for chemical, slurry and gas systems including chemical waste collection systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.\
• Manage on-site Total Gas and Chemical Management (TGCM) and Bulk Gas Plant contractors to ensure excellence in operations, maintenance, quality standards and safety compliance.
• Respond to issue and perform troubleshooting with on-site TGCM team, Bulk Gas Plant operations team and contractors.
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams on excursion root cause identification, elimination and prevention.
• Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise all improvement or upgrading or new projects for chemical, slurry, gas and chemical waste system.
• Include good design practice for state-of-the-art system designs, system capacity and capability analysis, planning for future requirements, and code compliance.
• Work in a team effort with other engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction disciplines to provide detailed designs and specifications for the installation of new capital equipment and systems.
• Identify and implement new technologies for chemical, slurry and gas systems for process breakthrough.
• Carry out cost estimates, analysis, cost and schedule estimates as well as justification of proposed projects.
• Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, and costing.
• Provide support for new chemical and gas evaluations.
• Plan and execute specialty gas system release/unhooking.
• Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment.
• Support ISEP and Facilities operations concerning chemical, slurry and gas management/operations/storage/maintenance works.
• Carry out FMEAs (Failure Model and Effect Analysis), eliminate single points of failure and mitigate risks.
• Analyze systems to identify improvements that will result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
• Work with Quality department to ensure the quality of chemicals, slurries and spec gas.
• Be aware of and perform all works in accordance with company safety guidelines.
• Benchmark with other Micron sites on operational, procedural, engineering, and design BKM of Facilities buildings and systems.

• Master/ Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Min 4 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day operation and maintenance is essential
• Functional / Technical Skills and Knowledges:

• Trouble-shoot and service normalization on systems in charge such as buildings issues, lifts, plumbing and sanitary, landscaping and housekeeping work
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and system breakdown maintenance (BM)
• Perform 1st line incident handling, breakdown repair works as well as actively participate in incident
• Perform inspection rounds on 6S and supervision of contractor works on building services
• Ensure that all quality expectations are up held to meet better than expected customer request
• Create and innovate new methods for continuous improvement to current Procedures to attain best in class quality and cost
• Participate in Improvement teams to enhance system improvements
• Maintain good housekeeping in all buildings, ensure good safety practice and also safe custody of keys, tools, documentation, equipment and other properties belonging to the company

We’re searching for a MANAGER to be part of our FACILITIES DEPARTMENT diverse team of talent. You will be the Subject-Matter-Expert for the Operation & Maintenance.

What you will be working on:

• Lead the operation section in Facilities to provide 24 hours operational support in wafer fabrication
• Lead the team to maintain and operate Facilities Centre (FC) systems
• Provide guidance to team members, ensure smooth facilities operations and resolve technical issues
• Manage Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensure system owners perform all the maintenance function as required
• Manage 12-hour shift duties to provide 24 hours facilities support to Fab to ensure continuous and smooth operation
• Coach, mentor and train fellow on technical know-how to ensure department technical competencies are up to the highest standard
• Formulate and implement operating procedures and preventive maintenance programs for systems to ensure that the systems function as intended at all times
• Monitor and review system performance and capacity usage to ensure continuity of operations with zero disruptions
• Manage appointed shift leaders to perform shift handover, planning & allocation of daily tasks to shift members, generation of system performance & weekly utility consumption reports
• Review, recommend and implement changes to workflow to achieve company and department goals in relation to cost saving and operational improvement
• Working closely with Operations and Quality team ensuring optimal plant performance
