- The incumbent serves as the lead in repairing, maintaining, and cleaning all equipment used and controlled by the unit.
- Employee modifies boats and equipment to meet needs.
- Constructs or fabricates with relevant materials to create or modify equipment to meet the demands of the job.
- Performs all repairs associated with boats, trailers, small engines, outboard engines, and related equipment.
- Performs maintenance such as changing outboard engine oil and lower unit fluid, replacing outboard water pumps, flushing outboard engines, replacing fuses.
- Responsible for pressure washing boats and trailers, cleaning inside and out of refrigerated trailers, removing barnacles and water lines from boats.
