SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, developing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating and monitoring maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with operation & maintenance manual standards by proper deployment and supervision of the maintenance works.
Ensure compliance with regulations, related to the Environmental Quality Act, Safety and Health Act, and management system standards, while ensuring that the QESH achieves its intended results by incorporating a process approach, risk-based thinking, and implementing improvements to enhance performance.
KEY TASK
- Responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance and improvement of all mechanical and electrical installations, transformers, Compact Subs and Consumer Sub-stations.
- Troubleshoot problems in a timely and effective manner.
- To monitor any contractor or 3rd party working along the ALR’s expressway. To check their permit, insurance and type of work. Shall report to superior if any non-compliance detected.
- Work closely and provide support to other interdepartmental.
- Provides relevant information and reports to immediate superior regularly: daily and weekly reports.
- Monitor and record performances of tunnel critical assets (pumps, gates etc)
- 24 hours on standby to attend breakdown or flood operations
- Assist immediate superior in any other tasks or assignments as required.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Group Mechanical Electrical and Instrumentation.
Position Requirements
Qualification
Minimum of Certificate of Competency Category for A0 / A4 issued by the Energy Commission or a recognized qualification equivalent to it.
Experience
At least 2 years’ working experience in the Maintenance Field or 1 year in a similar field.
Specific skills/ abilities
Knowledge in handling Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
Personal qualities
Fast Learner and able to work under pressure. Able to work long hours and willing to work during public holiday.
Location
Workplace location either KESAS, LIRTAK, SPRINT or SMART (Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat Berhad).
