Machine Operator

Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.00 per hour / £487.50 per week / £25,350 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

A local, well-established employer based in Poole is currently seeking to recruit for a Machine Operator to work within their manufacturing shop floor on a permanent basis.

Working within a small team undertaking a variety of machining duties for batches of small and high volume orders.

Within this role you will be;

• Operating a variety of machines to undertake grinding, drilling and finishing
• Marking out and cutting of materials
• Setting up machinery and equipment
• Working to job sheet and customer orders

For these roles, you MUST:

• Have previous experience of working in a machine shop , engineering environment operating a variety of equipment
• Good with hands tools
• Ability to work at a quick pace
• Quick learner
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work confidently and efficiently as part of a team
