Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesaler, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spearhead a people-centric transformation by guiding, coaching, and nurturing the production team, fostering a growth-oriented, innovative, and resilient mindset to ensure adaptability to change.
- Manage the production budget, proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for cost optimization and enhancing financial performance.
- Implement robust shop floor control systems to ensure transparency, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the evaluation and execution of automation initiatives within production to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability within predefined budgets.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to automation success, cost savings, and production efficiency, utilizing data for informed decision-making and adjustments.
- Advocate a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular communications to inspire and motivate the team to embrace new technologies, methodologies, and work approaches.
- Foster an environment that encourages team collaboration, effective problem-solving, and proactive risk management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, especially in the adoption and integration of new automation technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, demonstrating a track record of successfully transforming production environments.
- Proven leadership skills, showcasing the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a diverse production team through significant organizational changes.
- Strong grasp of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, along with familiarity with shop floor control approaches and implementation.
- Experience with shop floor control methodologies and a robust analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

- Location: West
- Salary: S$6,500 higher (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
