Objectives of the Position
- Experienced Global Business Expert for the processes Manufacturing, Site Logistics and P2P for supply chain (including Tolling Execution). Part of the Global Supply Chain Process Excellence team with members located in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
Main Tasks:
- Implement new organizational and / or technical concepts for processes MFG (Manufacturing), SL (Site Logistics), P2P (Purchase-to-pay) in strong alignment with relevant stakeholders including global process owners. Facilitate and contribute to change and test management activities.
- Drive innovation and automation activities, e.g., based on RPA (Robotics Process Automation) technology. Continuously assess improvement potentials and implement new solutions when available.
- Track and address adherence to business rules and processes including monitoring via KPIs, process mapping tools, and reports.
- Lead regional, sub-regional and local key-user communities to enforce continuous communication and best practice exchange.
- Lead projects or projects workstreams with cross-organizational or cross-functional aspects, e.g. S/4HANA implementation or supply chain integration of acquired businesses.
- Execute key-user and end-user support including Issue-solving in day-to-day business, training, monitoring tasks and data maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with a strong focus on order-to-cash and transportation management processes and tools.
- Experience in Agricultural business is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
- Process knowledge: Deep knowledge of supply chain, operations, and logistics processes. Experience with analysis and monitoring tools, e.g. SAP transactions, BW applications, data lake queries.
- Organizational knowledge: Awareness about organizational structures in BASF, interaction between divisions and corporate / service functions.
- IT knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Microsoft standard applications, SAP ERP, and related tools for MFG, SL and P2P purposes.
- Process design / modeling: Capability to use process modeling tools (e.g. Signavio) for process mapping and design.
- Project management: Experience in contributing to projects or leading workstreams of projects. Ability to manage own workload, set priorities and regular reporting of progress to stakeholders. Change management skills.
- Customer-Centricity: A strong commitment to enhancing the customer and business partner experience throughout the process areas of manufacturing, site logistics and P2P.
