CNC Operator
We currently have permanent positions (38 hour week with overtime available) at our Lonsdale site.
Candidates with Engineering or Factory backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle raw materials and equipment and ensure they are safely and efficiently loaded onto the CNC machine.
Assist in setting up CNC machines involves preparing the equipment and accessories for operation.
Ensure that all components are correctly calibrated, aligned, and functioning optimally.
Maintain detailed records of equipment setup, procedures followed, and any adjustments made.
Implement scheduled maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment tasks (e.g. lubrication, cleaning debris, and inspecting for signs of wear) To help prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
Monitor the operation of CNC machines during production runs, identify any issues or deviations from expected performance, and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality output.
Inspect finished products and verify they meet required specifications and quality standards( using measuring tools and comparing dimensions against predefined tolerances).
Ensure adherence to APS safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety procedures.
Comply with safety standards and procedures.
Attention to quality and detail.
Positive attitude and teamwork.
Requirements and Experience:
At least five years of experience as a CNC Operator.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
Solid computer and math skills.
Diploma, Degree, or above level of experience.
Physically able to operate a CNC Machine.
Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
Must be able to lift 20kg at a time.
