About the role
Are you ready to take your financial expertise to the next level? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team in a leadership role that will shape the financial future of our operations.
This senior-level position requires not only strategic financial acumen but also proven leadership abilities to lead, mentor, and develop a team. You will work closely with key operational leaders across regions, providing the financial insights and leadership needed to enhance decision-making and deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of four Finance Business Partners, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with operational teams overseeing financial performance and strategy.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of contracts (approximately 120 contract P&Ls), ranging in turnover from £500k to £30 million collectively.
- Provide advanced financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to guide operational decisions and ensure performance targets are met.
- Lead financial discussions with senior stakeholders, confidently challenging and influencing to deliver improved results.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and commercial awareness. Candidates must have proven leadership and mentoring experience in a similar role, along with the following:
- Be fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with significant post-qualification experience.
- Exceptional analytical and commercial acumen, with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven ability to engage, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- The ability to thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities with resilience and adaptability.
- A strong background in auditing, acquisitions, or transactions, which will be highly advantageous in this role.
