Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Strategy for our APAC region to lead strategic development across multiple markets. In this role, you will drive innovation, lead high-impact campaigns, and craft compelling media strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in media strategy, data analytics, and team leadership, with a deep understanding of APAC market dynamics.
Strategic Leadership: Develop, execute, and oversee high-level strategic plans that drive client success and business growth across APAC markets. This includes key pitches across markets but also for Top 2 clients across the key markets.
Client Consultation: Act as a strategic partner to clients, providing insights and recommendations that address key business challenges and leverage market opportunities. This is across Top 3 clients across markets in APAC.
Innovation and Thought Leadership: Drive innovation by identifying new trends, media channels, and strategic opportunities that can enhance client campaigns and elevate agency offerings. This includes working closely with Head of Operations to build a product and tool capability integrating within the Hearts Planning framework. Building profile in the market, awards and delivering Playbooks across different planning principles and products to markets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and sister agencies during a pitch and key integrated clients (creative, media, data, and client services) to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution.
Market Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the APAC media landscape, including emerging channels, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years in media strategy, marketing, or advertising, with a significant portion of experience in APAC markets and in a leadership role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record in data-driven strategy development.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients.
- Innovation-Oriented: Strong track record of introducing new strategic approaches, leveraging the latest industry trends, and driving impactful results.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, with an emphasis on strategic development and market growth.
