Work as part of the 0-19 pathway to deliver planned programmes of care under the direction of the Locality Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SCPHN). This will involve onward referrals as required. To manage own caseload for the identified children and young people. Deliver the role in a variety of settings e.g. schools, clinics, client homes, community venues. To deliver New Birth contacts, 6 week checks, 1 and 2 year reviews, transfer in contacts, school health assessments as required when competency has been demonstrated. This may include contact with some vulnerable families under the direction and supervision of a SCPHN qualified practitioner. Actively participate in the delivery of a service for identified health priorities in accordance with referral criteria. Attend events that enable the service to be promoted as required/appropriate. Review records of children moving in/out of the area according to agreed guidelines/protocols. Assist in the delivery of Public Health group activities as identified through needs assessment/ trend of referrals eg themed drop ins, health days, Report back any concerns to the HCP 0-19 Team Leader or Locality SCPHN. Adhere to the local Safeguarding Childrens Board and safeguarding adult guidelines and procedures and attend relevant training. Participate in Safeguarding, Team around the Child/Family, Child in Need, Child Protection and Family Support Processes for vulnerable children and young people. This may include attendance at conference and report writing when assessed to be competent and under the direction of a SCPHN Act as a practice supervisor or practice assessor to student nurses following approved training. To support Children Families and Young People to ensure that their voices are heard and taken into account within service development. To assist the Duty Clinician in the delivery of Text Us and ChatHealth and Duty Desk with the smooth administration of incoming clinical correspondence and allocation of referrals on a rotational basis and to support with the Services digital offer To lead child health clinics

An exciting new in house role has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our energy and utilities client as a strategic member of their in-house legal function in South Wales & the Southwest. This role will be a wide-ranging role supporting the General Counsel by providing a broad range of commercial advice to senior stakeholders across the business. You must be able to travel to their offices in Newport, however you will also be able to work flexibly from home for part of the week if desired.

Your new role
You will join this close-knit legal team in a senior role providing timely commercial advice to stakeholders from across the main functions of the business, including Procurement, Regulation, Health and Safety, Net Zero, HR and critically Infrastructure, Estates and Operations. Your broad new role will give you the opportunity to be involved in everything from drafting and negotiating Construction Contracts and Commercial Agreements, to providing strategic and commercially sensitive advice on Data Protection, Procurement Regulations, Commercial Disputes and Property Disputes.

Providing legal support to the business, you will have the opportunity to influence the business at a senior level and provide robust advice and guidance on risk management as well as regulatory obligations for operators in the utility and energy sectors.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial, Projects or Construction Lawyer with experience gained either in-house, or at a high quality national or regional law firm with exposure to advising clients in the utilities and energy sectors. You will be a strong technical lawyer with broad experience across the energy and utilities sectors.
