• Serves as education law subject matter expert and policy advisor. Serves as the subject matter expert and principal advisor to the DAF, to include The Judge Advocate General (TJAG) and other senior officials on the interpretation of education laws, regulations, and policies.
• Provides leadership and directs the DAF's EFM Legal Assistance and Policy Branch. Provides leadership and directs the daily planning, managing, and execution of diverse functions within the Exceptional Family Member Legal Assistance and Policy Branch.
• Provides education, training, and EFM legal outreach. Serves as the DAF's subject matter expert and instructor on the interpretation of laws, regulations, and administrative policies related to education law and pertinent to EFM clients.

As a Program Analyst (Action Officer) you will be responsible for the following duties:
